Fleet Management

Fleet Management encompasses the overall day to day activities of all the fleet belonging to the organisation. It is also includes managing the company workshop that assists in the Vehicle Maintenance Programme for all fleet, and ensure that the company vehicles are kept in best condition by conducting regular vehicle inspections are conducted.

The Fleet Management Department manages all drivers and control the movement of company vehicles. It is the function of the Fleet Management Department to ensure that safety measures are adhered to by the drivers, the driver’s assistants and the workshop staff.

Within the Fleet Management Department there are two transport cooperatives, Siboniwenathi Co-op and Fast Move Co-op; that are supported in giving overall strategic support, developing and assisting in utilising systems to run the transport business efficiently.

Siboniwenathi Co-op runs the mixer trucks and is responsible for transporting concrete and mortar from the batching plant to the building sites. Fast Move Co-op is responsible for transportation of input material from the quarries to the project block yards.
