Construction Program
Coordinate the development of monthly construction program

• Weekly monitoring of the construction programme
• Monitoring of the Constructions Cooperatives, ensuring that they deliver as per the construction program

Ensure Quality Compliance   

• Work with the ward technicians and Engineers, to ensure that all work is according to specifications
• Coordinate inspections with NHBRC and the Department of Human Settlement

Ensuring effective and efficient use of material        

• Constantly monitor materials issued against certified production, bill of quantities (BOQ).

Stakeholder Engagement   

• Ensure the engagement of Traditional Leadership and Councillors in the development of the construction program
• Ensure that monthly reports on production are submitted to relevant community stakeholders
• Ensuring good citizenship of the project within the community

Some Cooperatives have upgraded to individual companies and are operating as contractors assigned to take up the most challenging sites.
